The Westfield Athenaeum is one of 35 libraries to have been awarded a grant from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) under the Federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) in July 2021, which is funded through the Institute of Museum and Library Services. With these funds, we are thrilled to launch a new program around healthy eating and wellness for Westfield residents!
Our goal is to raise awareness about local resources and offer a variety of workshops and other programs for folks to gain a better understanding of healthy eating and wellness. Together with our community partners, the Athenaeum will foster a more cohesive focus on healthy eating and culinary literacy as part of a healthy lifestyle in Westfield.
